We are a private sanctuary devoted to the preservation of Africa's greatest heritage. Our collection is the result of decades of discerning acquisition and profound respect for the spiritual and aesthetic traditions of the African continent.
The Collector
The collection was assembled over five decades by a single individual whose identity remains private. Each acquisition was made with the intention of permanent stewardship, not investment or speculation.
The Collection
Our holdings encompass the full breadth of African sculptural tradition, from ancient terracottas of the Nok civilization dating to 500 BCE, to twentieth-century ceremonial objects still bearing traces of ritual use.
Access
Access is granted exclusively through our network of six designated brokers located in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Lagos, and São Paulo.
Continuity
The Century Art Gallery operates as a perpetual foundation. Our charter ensures that the collection will never be dispersed, sold, or transferred to commercial interests.
